HBC Ministries

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

— Mark 10:45

Church is much more than a Sunday morning experience. Join a ministry to really get to know your church family, and to make serving the Lord a bigger part of your everyday life. God has equipped each of us with talents and gifts that He wants to use to expand his kingdom. Find out how you can be a blessing to your church and your community.

Children’s Ministry

Every child is a gift from the Lord, and we want to help families with discipleship and to equip kids for life. We provide opportunities for children to learn about God and the truth of His Word. Children are taught at age appropriate levels in a safe and engaging environment. Children are encouraged to grow through Bible study and activities, to serve others, and to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Youth Ministry

The focus of the Youth Ministry is to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values and behavior in the young people of our community.  Our vision is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the youth within our church and community. Youth are encouraged to get involved in the community of the church and to grow in their understanding and application of Scripture. There are plenty of ways to learn, serve, and have fun at Hillside.

“For You are my hope; O Lord GOD. You are my confidence from my youth.” — Psalms 71:5

adult Ministry

There is something for everyone at Hillside Baptist Church. Adults will find many opportunities to worship, learn and be in service. Whether you are a parent with young children, single, an empty nester or a senior, there are many ways to be in fellowship in a Christian community. Come and join us for fellowship and worship.

“But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.” — Hebrews 5:14

Faith and works are bound up in the same bundle. He that obeys God trusts God; and he that trusts God obeys God. He that is without faith is without works; and he that is without works is without faith.
— Charles Spurgeon
